Major climate deal in EU

Final the European Parliament confirmed climate and energy package, which provides for greater use of renewable energy sources, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increase energy efficiency.

Eu leaders confirmed
so-called "20/20/20" package to tackle climate change. The 27 member states of EU will cut carbon emissions by 20% by 2020 (compared whit level in year 1990), make 20% increase in use of renewable energy by 2020 and cut 20% in energy consumption through improved energy efficiency by 2020.

Stavros Dimas (European Commissioner for the Environment):
"Today is one of the few opportunities where policy can really write history".

EU residents will in the future enjoy greater financial assistance for use of Energy-efficient systems.
In other words we will build cheaper solar power plants, heat pumps ...

Thanks europe:)

Flush toilet whit rainwater

Some ideas are really great. One of thosr is use of rainwater insted of normal drinking water.
Maybe you didn't know but on average, every man and woman on the day of consumption spend 50 liters of pure water. And if you multiply this number whit 365 days per year you get a consumption of 18250 liters of water for just one person.
So from this amount we use spend about 25 % water for toilet. This is a crazy waste of expensively processed potable water, and so every home-owner should consider if a rain water fed toilet flush is practical for their property.

As the image above shows, the concept is very simple. A water butt (rain barrel) is filled directly or via a (or rainwater diverter) by the rainwater which lands on the roof, runs along the guttering, and flows down a downpipe. This container is then connected to the toilet with a pipe. The whole set up should cost no more than 100 – 150 EUR and a couple of hours of your time.

Even more sofisticated system is evalibale whit electronic and pump:So what water you will use next time?

Plastic water Bottle? No, try Paper Bottle!

We use a lot of time plastic Bottles to store water. Unfortunately we recycle only about 14% of them. Therefore, in the company Brandimage designed a new type of Bottle called The 360 Paper Bottle, made of 100% natural materials. The concept of this design is really great and deserves a lot of respect but still there are a lot of questions to be answered. How big will the price of this Bottles be? Does it ever leak? Where can we buy it?

What is your opinion about The 360 Paper Bottle? Will they make it to the market?

Plastic Vs Wood

Progress in technology has brought humanity to the negative consequences that are slowly beginning to show.

Are our lives really much better because of the use of artificial material? Why do we used it?
On this issue, it is difficult to answer because all research shows that nature is in itself provide the ideal operation without our assistance. One of such examples is a natural material called wood. When compared with other materials for the construction discover that the power consumption and the release of CO2 for processing wood is much lower than for other materials. In fact, in the processing of wood we care that the CO2 is stored and not consumed, and thus a negative impact on our ozone.

So the only logical reason that we use artificial material is money. Yes, a lot of people don't care about ecologic they see only $$$$$$.
